I was recently contacted by Jolita of www.friendlyfashion.co.uk who told me about this fabulous website. It is a really great idea. There are several ways of using this site, you can sell unwanted clothing, accessories or shoes, alternatively, you are able to swap your clothes with other users or third, you can simply giveaway clothes.
I recently sold a load of things on eBay but unfortunately some things just would not go, as such I am going to put them on Friendly Fashion to swap with other users. I personally thought it was a brilliant idea when Jolita told me about it.
The following explains a bit more about the site which I received from Jolita:
ABOUT FRIENDLY FASHION
If you are anything like me, I’m sure you’ll have a pile of good clothes at the back of your wardrobe that you haven’t worn for a while. It might be something you no longer want, bored off or perhaps it simply doesn’t fit like it used to.
Friendlyfashion.co.uk is a new online destination, where people like me can free their wardrobe of unwanted items.
Our aim is to promote the idea of buying into fashion in a more meaningful way. And the concept is pretty simple: if you haven’t worn it for a while – take the picture and upload it to our site for others to buy from you. You can also swap with other members and give away your clothes, shoes or accessories. The choice is yours.
The site is completely free to use. If you have a Facebook account – You don’t even need to sign up. Just login in with Facebook! You can trawl the website, and when an item catches your eye – simply click the button ‘I want it!’ and you message the seller. Members agree on the terms of shipping and payment themselves, but the site moderators are always available to help. The site also has a “Feedback” function where members leave feedback about each other based on the service they received, so it’s in everyone’s interest to be nice and friendly, just like the name of the site suggestsJ
Apart from encouraging you to express your style via a more meaningful consumption, we are also growing a community of social shoppers. The site aims to be interactive and we want our members to talk to each other. You can chat to others by clicking on their profile and sending a message, or take part in the forum discussions. Inspirations, experiences, advice, tips and more – these are the topics our members love discussing and sharing with each other.
Regardless whether you are on a budget, on a mission to clear out your wardrobe or searching for some interesting pieces to experiment with – friendlyfashion.co.uk is a great place to start. It costs nothing to have a look around yet you might leave with some great finds!
I will let you all know when I put my clothes on and you can take a look! What do you think about it? I’d be interested to know!
