Week 1 – Ashleigh
Ladies, let me introduce to you to the beautiful Asheligh. Ashleigh’s blog is a favourite of mine for several reasons. Her blog is well written and well presented. Her posts include lots of pictures which I love to see, they show her readers how to wear different items of clothing and recently she has included a lot of ‘girl/style crush posts’ which I love! Any girl who compliments another girl instead of b!tching is a great girl in my book!
Her most recent post shows you how to get Cheryl Cole’s latest video look, from the high street no less. Clearly these posts aren’t rushed and a lot of time and effort goes into them which I respect. Furthermore, Ashleigh is a beautiful girl with great fashion sense- reasons to take her beauty and fashion advice in my opinion!

My blog is a mixture of Fashion, Celebrity and Beauty products. Fashion is something I am passionate about and I thrive off flicking through tons of magazines, making ‘wish lists’ and getting inspiration from celebrities and new designers/bloggers. Although I am no beauty expert, I still feel if I find something in particular I am impressed with, why not share it with others. Every girl loves a good beauty buy :).
What is your favourite beauty product & why?
My favourite beauty product would have to be St. Moriz tan! I find that this tan works much better than St.Tropez and considering it is a dupe, I prefer the colour as well. At such a low price point, I think this tan is worth every penny. It is perfect for a pre-tan before a night out, giving me a lovely deep golden colour.

What is your favourite scent & why?
My favourite scent has got to be Calvin Klein – Euphoria. I have lots of favourite scents but if I had to fork out for a perfume I was running out of, it would definitely be this one. As well as smelling gorgeous, it lasts all day long, which is something every girl wants in a perfume.
Who is your beauty icon?
My beauty icon would have to be Beyonce. I think of her as an icon in general, but she has such beautiful flawless skin and oozes natural beauty. She has the ideal figure and always looks amazing. There are so many beautiful ladies in the world to admire though!
Can you share a beauty secret with us?
I have a few skin ones 🙂 … I know that using soaps and face wash on your skin isn’t always the best. Depending on what skin type you have differs, but in general they tend to dry out your skin. So, I was told the best way to clean your skin is to 1. splash your face with warm water to open the pores 2. splash your face with cold water to close them. 3. dab your face with a towel, don’t wipe! This helps unblock pores without drying out your skin. yay to H2O! Also when applying moisturiser, smooth on your face away from your pores, not rubbing circles into them. So basically downwards. Doing this stops your pores getting clogged up with cream and prevents blemishes/spots.
What beauty advice would you give to your younger self if you went back in time?
DON’T get stripes of blonde in your hair Ashleigh!!!
If you could create a beauty product, what would it do?
If I could create a beauty product, I would create hair oil/cream that made your head hair grow super quick, so I could loose the extensions!
