Lee Stafford Treatment Challenge

Hello ladies,

As many of you know I was a long time lover of hair extensions and actually wore bonded extensions for two years, having previously worn clip ins for 4 years.

When I added up that I’d spent £2000 on bonded extensions, I thought it really was time to stop. My hair doesn’t feel damaged in the slightest which means I’m lucky, but I’ve now gone without my extra hair since May. I must admit that I do feel a little naked and a lot less attractive.

I am hoping that my own hair will get to a length that means I’m happy with my natural hair, which for me means about another 6 inches.

The first step I have taken is to stop styling my hair midweek. My hair is naturally curly so I’ve been leaving it to air dry and embraced my inner perm.

The next step has been my search for a miracle product. Look magazine have just brought out their hair edition and they have done a feature on hair that doesn’t seem to grow past a certain length. They recommend Lee Stafford Hair Grow range which include a shampoo, conditioner and treatment. The shampoo and conditioner are £6.99 each and the bottles are pretty small, the treatment costs £7.99 and as for sizing I’d say it meets salon brands.

I have been to about 3 different Boots to try and get my hands on these products however the majority have sold out. They are currently on offer for 3 products for £12 which is a bargain when you consider the price. As such I decided to buy 3 tubs of treatment which should have cost £24 but I managed to get them for £11 with an additional advantage card discount- bargain.

The treatment is said to be high in protein which helps improve the health of the scalp and provide an anchor for hair to prevent hair loss. It is recommended that you use this treatment every wash until you notice an improvement and then cut this down to twice a week to maintain the condition.

So far I have only used this once but I wanted to let my readers know- especially since it is on offer in the UK. I’ve read positive reviews about the product, but I’m not expecting a miracle. I will keep you updated on how it works for me.

Alternatively you could follow my friend Sophie who is taking pregnancy vitamins as famed by Gwyneth Paltrow as a miracle worker for hair growth. She said she has noticed a difference in the condition and length of hair. I’m going to give Lee Stafford a go first!

Have any of you tried this range? Do you have any tips for me?

Just ran out of a horrifically expensive Kerastase £35 version of a protein treatment, this is definitely going to be a lunchtime purchase!

I use Label M protein Spray. Not sure how much it actually does for my hair to be honest. I'd be interested to know how they compare xx
