I am off to Australia on Thursday with my boyfriend for a couple of weeks and I can’t wait. I didn’t have a suitable sized handbag to take on the plane. I own a lot of handbags, yet none of them could fit my long haul essentials in. My essentials are;
A couple of novels,
A change of clothes,
Big socks,
A hoody,
A pashmina,
Toothbrush and Toothpaste,
Baby Wipes,
Hand Sanitizer,
Then all the important documents for both of us!
I have a lovely holdall from M&S, but unfortunately it was just too big. I had been searching online and hunted around TK Maxx but just couldn’t find anything suitable, then I came across a black leather oversized bag with gold studs in River Island. It was perfect; good size, strong, zipped shut and had inside pockets. The bag was £65 and my mum kindly offered to treat me as she knew how expensive this trip is going to be. Luckily there was £10 off so I got it for £55. Whilst I was in River Island I noticed they had some gorgeous make up bags and when I saw the tan version I had to have it. It cost £13 which I thought was reasonable given the size and the quality.
Overall I was really impressed with the range of accessories available from River Island and I will definitely be checking it out more often. Have you found some great accessories on the high street?

Oh wow that a small world! I am from Brisbane… well the Gold Coast to be exact! Hope you visit the GC, Broadbeach is an excellent area for eating at plenty of restaurants and Robina Town Centre is a beautiful shopping centre!! 🙂
