The Body Shop Haul Featuring Caroline Hirons Recommended Products

The Body Shop to me conjures memories of amazing smelling bubble baths and bath pearls as a child.  I will be honest when I say I have not frequented it much as an adult, except to purchase a lip balm here or there. When I saw that Caroline Hirons, the skincare queen, had uploaded a new YT video of her recommending her ‘Budget Skincare’ I had to get my hands on some of those products (you can view the video here).

I went to my local The Body Shop, where I was served by a lovely assistant named Robyn, when I mentioned I was looking to get my hands on products recommended by Caroline Hirons she said ‘I love her’, so I knew I was in good hands!  I listed off the products I wanted to try: Aloe Toner, Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz, Nutriganics Smoothing Serum and Vitamin E Moisture Cream.

Unfortunately they were out of stock of the Nutriganics Smoothing Serum, but Robyn recommended I try the Nutriganics Drops of Youth, I tried some on my hand, as well as the Vitamin E Serum, but you could tell instantly that this product was far more luxurious and it smelled great too, obviously I purchased.

I also bought a new ‘tool’ The Body Shop Facial Massager, another Caroline Hirons product, which helps improve circulation and therefore improve the skin’s natural radiance.  You use this at night after cleansing, toning and moisturising to help better absorption of moisturiser.

Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray which I got free

Not surprisingly, I ended up with several more products to purchase and I spent around £70, I saved 10% by singing up to a loyalty card, this did cost £5, but I saved this straight away.  I also got a Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray as a gift for joining, not bad if you as me.

The sale ended today, so I was just in time to get my hands on some bargains, I got a Strawberry Shower Gel for £8 reduced from £16, and an Almond Body Butter for £5 reduced from £13.

Tomorrow sees the launch of The Body Shops new Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet, I was given a sample to try – it smells amazing, this is a powerful smell, so if you like your scents light, this isn’t the one for you.  It has a lovely thick texture, yet was quickly absorbed into the skin.

Once I’ve tried each product for a while, I will write an in depth review of each.
