I wore a black lace dress from H&M, a fur scarf from Topshop, and black Chelsea boots from Office.
When we arrived, we did a quick loop of the stalls then the first show was announced. The first show was a burlesque and aerial hoop, the girls were great, I was especially impressed by their strength, that aerial hoop looks very hard work!!
There were lots of stalls; everything from jewellery to hair extensions. I had expected lots of lifestyle/homeware stalls, but unfortunately there was only one stall selling lights. I had also thought there would be lots of food stalls for the foodie in me, but there was just one stall selling cakes and a coffee shop.
I came across some fabulous jewellery, all handmade and the designers were there themselves. I fell in love with the necklaces made from watch faces by Nina Maritza, it’s not pay day for me for a couple of weeks, but I will definitely be checking out her Etsy store and you should too! Her pieces range from £30 to £60.
Another lovely jewellery stand was Wolf & Moon, I’m a magpie for anything blue and there were plenty on show, their pieces ranged from £6 to £90.

The only beauty stall I came across was ‘Glitzy Lips’.
We made our way to the alternative/burlesque fashion area, and came across some beautiful handmade shoes, they were like fairytale shoes, I couldn’t resist trying them on when the lovely designer said I could. We also came to a jewellery stand, I wasn’t quite sure what they were; turns out they were nipple jewellery…interesting!
We then took our seats for the fashion show, I spotted the lovely Leanne from The Dress Diaries and we had a good chat. The show began, which was a colourful array of t-shirts for men and women, followed by embellished denim (very 90s), and finale of latex. The fashion on show wasn’t really my style, but the men’s t-shirt designs were really cool.
If I’m honest, I felt a little let-down by the exhibition, there weren’t nearly as many exhibitors or even attendees as I’d expected.
Did any of you head to the exhibition?
