Classics. To me they are the pieces in my wardrobe that can be worn year on year, without ever dating. They’re timeless. Spring is the time of year where I get excited about fashion again. With classics in mind and a new season, I’ve style two classics for spring from the new collection at Coast. I’m sure we’ll all be wearing these for years to come.
Two Classics for Spring
Ladylike Polka Dots
Polka dots are one of my favourite classics, and this dress is perfect for spring. The Nadine midi dress features a bardot neckline with straps, making the dress extremely comfortable. The floaty feel and semi sheer skirt make the dress fun, whilst still remaining elegant. This dress is so versatile as it can be dressed up or down. I paired it with some nude courts, but a pair of strappy sandals would equally work. I’ll definitely be wearing this dress throughout spring and into summer; to weddings and garden parties.
The Staple Jumpsuit
A jumpsuit has long been a go to for any occasion for me. The Harlem jumpsuit from Coast will be seen on many occasions throughout spring and summer; this year and those to follow. The cobalt blue colour immediately drew my attention, as I’m a magpie for anything blue. I love the bardot neckline on the jumpsuit; it is very comfortable and sits well without having to constantly adjust. The split at each ankle, as well as the back of the bardot add extra interest to the piece. Again I paired this with my nude courts, which I would do for a formal occasion. I think this dress would also be great for cocktails with the girls, in which case I’d add a pair of hot pink sandals and a clutch in the same colour. Hint hint to my girlfriends, let’s get it booked in!
