Ladbrokes Ladies Day, Doncaster Races
I was lucky enough to receive an email a while back inviting me to attend Ladbrokes Ladies Day, at Doncaster Racecourse. Having been to the races a couple of times before in Newcastle, I accepted straight away and booked the day off work. My challenge then started to find the perfect dress, fascinator and shoes.

I arranged to meet the lovely Hannah at Leeds Station as we were arriving a little early, before we met up with the rest of the bloggers who were attending the day. I’d met a few of the girls before which always makes these things less intimidating, and they are such a lovely lot.
We arrived at the racecourse and headed up to the top floor to the restaurant, where we were treated to Prosecco on tap before a slap up three course meal, which was absolutely delicious.
We finished our meal just in time for the first race, I’d had some tips from a friend (only one came in) and picked a horse for each of the 8 races, a few of us also had a flutter on a ‘lucky dip’ accumulator, but none of us left much richer!
We headed back out to the viewing balcony to get some group shots before Carrie from Branded 3 announced they had been running a little competition quietly, to pick the best dressed. Carrie then announced the winner and I was in absolute shock to hear I had actually won! I won a £50 shopping voucher, which I can’t wait to spend and will let you know what I pick up!
I’d like to say a big thank you to Ladbrokes and Branded 3 for a brilliant and well organised day. I’m also thinking of selling this dress, it’s a size 10, if anyone is interested, leave me a comment below!
