A couple of weeks ago I went to renew my usual Mac Foundation (Studio Fix Fluid) and I happened to ask the girl if there was anything else she would recommend, she asked what skin I had and I said dry, then re-asked me what I was currently wearing. She couldn’t believe I’d been using fix fluid, as this is totally wrong for someone with dry skin which I wasn’t aware of. It finally made me realise why I’ve been using lotion and potions to no avail. So not I use Studio Sculpt in NC25, which is a gel based foundation and I LOVE it. I tried using just my regular Mac powder, but I then considered this may also be wrong, I was recommended the Sheer Pressed Powder, as it is less drying for your skin. I’ve been wearing all this now for a couple of weeks, and my skin is so much better. My skin is less dry and my makeup lasts a lot longer.
So I thought I’d show you all a FOTD including my new base; Studio Sculpt NC25 applied with 187 brush, Studio Sculpt Concealer in NW25 applied with a 212 brush and Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NC25. For my eyes I used my Naked Palette I applied Virgin over the lid, Sin below the brown bone, and Buck in the crease and under my lower lash. I know I said I wasn’t overly impressed but I gave my Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light another go and I liked it this time. I applied my Mac Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Springsheen to the apples of my cheeks, I absolutely ADORE this blush, it’s my favourite ever. To finish off I applied Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara, in Extreme Black. To finish the look I applied a set of falsies.

For my OOTD I wore the River Island shirt I wore in my last OOTD, my All Saints Leather Jacket, a pair of Topshop Leggings, Miss Selfridge shorts with a mustard belt and my beloved Dune riding boots.
Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend!
