I openly confess that if I see a Glossybox review I will scroll past and find something else to read on blogger. I have been massively unimpressed by their boxes and have cancelled my subscription. I decided I wanted to try something new and I came across the She Said Beauty boxes. You can see their website here.
Their beauty boxes are £9, making him a pound cheaper than Glossybox, but otherwise it works on the same principal; you get 5 beauty products a month. Another positive of She Said Beauty is that their boxes are sent at the start of the month.
When I opened my box this is what I seen:
Yardley London RRP £9.99
This is sample of Yardley London’s Royal Diamond perfume which has been released to celebrate the queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This perfume is quite strong, and something I wouldn’t personally wear myself. I was disappointed with this as I believe this to be a ‘free’ sample that I could get elsewhere, but to be honest, due to the other products I received, it didn’t bother me too much.
Ginvera BB Cream RRP £20.00
A bonus product was included in this box, which was Ginvera BB cream for all skin tones. It is said to provide moisture and nourishment, to brighten and even skin ton and protect against UV rays with SPF 30. I haven’t used this as it is only a sample and haven’t had a chance to give it a proper try.
Lets Go Lashes – Temptress Number 3 RRP £8.95
This was a full size product in the box and the brand offers 40 styles to suit everyone. These are the sort of lashes I would wear on a night out, however I do think they are pretty expensive therefore I wouldn’t have tried them without She Said Beauty.
Mischa Barton Whipped Shea Body Butter RRP £10.00
I wasn’t aware that Mischa Barton had a beauty range and therefore it was great to find out from She Said Beauty. This was the second full size product in my box. The scent is Lemon Zest and it smells incredible. The body butter is very thick and feels amazing on the skin. I thought when I seen this was full size that it wouldn’t last long, but when I felt how thick the lotion was, I realised this justified the size.
Elemis Tranquil Touch Indulgent Bath Elixir RRP £19.00
I was pretty pleased when I seen an Elemis product in my box, as this is a brand I have bought myself. This is not full size, it is 50ml and it smells incredible. I absolutely love it. The scent is exotic and contains cocoa butter, patchouli, cedarwood and vetivert leaves. I cannot wait to put this in a bath.
St. Tropez Self Tan Perfect Legs RRP £10.00
I was so excited to see I got St. Tropez is my box, and whats more – it’s full size! This is an instant tan which is said to give an airbrushed effect. I haven’t used it yet as I wanted to keep it for going out somewhere special. I really cannot wait to try it, I will make sure I write a review once I have tried it.
So overall I was impressed with this box. I got 3 full sized product which amounts to £28.95, not including the sample products. I wanted to share this with you as I was amazed by the quality of products I got in the box, and felt it really was worth the money I paid. I will definitely be signing up for a full subscription.
Have any of you tried this yet?
