My parents got Andrew and I tickets to Ladies day as a surprise. Neither of us had been to the races before and we were both really excited.
This is a quick post to show you my outfit and I will do another post on how I achieved the makeup look I went for.
My dress was from BCBG, my shoes were Lady Peep Spikes by Christian Louboutin and my fascinator was Star by Julian MacDonald at Debenhams.
I wore my hair in a bun to the side with my fascinator on the same side. I was pleased I’d put it up as there were some sharp showers and some ladies got caught out; having their hair down meant their style didn’t survive the rain!
Andy and I had two bottles of bubbly and I was tucked up in bed by 8pm. We didn’t win much but we had a brilliant day out and it was really nice to do something different as a couple. I’d definitely go back.
