Thank you to Georgie from Bean’s Beauty Blog for tagging me in the ‘The British Tag’ post…I said I’d complete this when I came back from holiday, but if any of you follow me on Twitter, you’ll know we didn’t manage to get away as my mum ended up in hospital; it’s been a scary few days!
I don’t really dunk biscuits anymore, it used to be Rich Tea finger biscuits when I was younger, or a good ol’ Ginger Snap!
Since moving to Yorkshire, I really enjoy going to the farm in Spring when all of the newborns are around. I also enjoy horse riding. When I’m at my parents I really enjoy going for a drive along the coast to see the sea – it’s something I miss since moving inland!
5. Favourite word?
I guess the most ‘British’ word I use regularly is ‘lovely’
Cream Crackered – meaning ‘Knackered’
7. Favourite sweet/chocolate?
I love Cadbury’s Chocolate Eclairs!
Oh gosh, this is hard! The Cottage? This was the name of the local pub where I grew up (how awful is that answer!?)
The Queen?
10. Favourite shop / restaurant
Has to be Spice Girls, anything Spice Girls
So let’s see how British I am…
1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? And how many sugars?
I need a cup of tea to function in the morning. If I’m on time, I may have a cup before I head to work, otherwise it is one from the canteen. Failing that it is one from the machine at work! I tend to have a few more during the day from the machine so probably around 4. I will have another late evening when I’m snuggled in front of the TV. If you’re making, mine’s strong, milky and with 1 sugar.
My favourite tea is Ringtons; it’s from Newcastle and it’s the best! You know you love your tea when you’re particular about the brand!

2. Favourite part of your roast dinner?
Oh that’s hard…it used to be Yorkshire puddings but now I’d say the meat and gravy – the gravy really makes a roast dinner for me!
3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
