This post is me having a little bit of a whinge. I think that River Island has really improved over the past 2 years as a store. I always thought it was a bit chavy and pretty poor when it came to producing fashionable clothes, however, over the last two years I’ve been really impressed as the clothes are now edgy and fashionable. All I can say is River Island WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?? This monstrosity would set you back a tidy £70. These pictures actually don’t do justice to how awful this dress is. If you see it in store it’s even worse, and I’d pretty much bet on your chin hitting the floor like mine did when I seen it.
Has anyone else recently notice any crimes to fashion on the ‘Great British Highstreet’ this season?
Ugh, I completely agree! Me and my friends saw this dress in store and couldn't believe they were stocking something that is frankly so hideous and unflattering. Luckily River Island does a good line in other clothes, so I think I can let this one pass…for now…

I think this is one of the ugliest dresses ever for river island!

Haa! I saw this in store and remember thinking how awful it was, I think it had a reduced sticker on it too 😐 Theres a cream version of this on their website reduced from £60 to £15 horrendous!
