I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. I’ve had quite a fun weekende this week. After work on Friday a group of us all went to a pub close to work for a good chin wag, and a bit of a giggle. I now have a love for Timmerman’s Strawberry beer. Have any of you tried it?
Saturday Mum and I went to Leeds. We met my man for lunch and we went to Jamies. This was my second visit to this Italian and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The waiters know the food, are happy to make any changes and give plenty advice. The wine is pretty good too. I went with meat platter to start, then had Jool’s favourite Yellow Fin Tuna Fussili, which had a light tomato sauce – it was delicious.
The three of us then made our way to Harvey Nichols to find me a dress to wear for my birthday. I tried on three dresses all BCG, and fell in love with a Mink coloured one. I am saving pictures until my actual birthday on 9th May. The sales advisors were lovely, very helpful – got other sizes, helped me in and out, and took a Michael Kors dress off a manequin for mum to try (which she bought, and is gorgeous AND I may have to borrow it). As anyone with great sales technique would do, I was brought two pairs of Louboutins to try on with my dress. I’ve been considering in investing for a while but my mum keeps telling me no (even though it’s my money!!). I don’t quite understand this as it’s fine for me to blow £750 on Miu Miu handbag, but not £500 on Louboutins??
ANYWAY… I just wanted to share with you a pair I was brought, they were gold and covered in swarovski crystals, what do you think?
I personally think £2,395 for a pair of shoes is ridiculous…
Dress purchased, mum and I went for a wander looking for a birthday present for Andrew. I got some hand cream from Keihls, where I was given a load of samples to blog about so watch this space. We then headed back up North.
Sunday has been quiet, I woke up with a stinking headache, got a bit of a head cold. I decided to make some lentil soup and that’s as exciting as my day has gotten.
Hope you all have a lovely week ahead.
Love the shoes! But £2395 is a lot. Can't stop looking at them though 🙂 x
Ohhhh those shoes are beautiful! I couldn't justify £2,000, but maybe £500…. I can't wait to see what dress you chose!x
The shoes are amazing! 🙂 xx
I know. Just so much money to put on your feet!! I have a love for slingbacks too. If I had that kind of money to blow I'd have bought them. XO
The shoes are fantasic!
Buy the Loubies! They will change your life! Ok, maybe not the £2000 Swarvoski ones but start with a £375 Pigalle pump.. You'll never go back! Good luck with the birthday dress hunt!
