Xen Tan

Hello Ladies,

I hope you are all having a better start to the week than I am.  My cold has gotten worse, I think I actually now have man flu.  How do we fix man flu?? Please leave a comment…

Anyway…something that did brighten up my weekend and has left me glowing despite feeling like death warmed up, has been my new Xen tan.  My friend Joanne is milk bottle white naturally (she won’t mind me saying – she openly admits it), so when she is looking for a tan, she wants something that looks natural but gives her a good colour.  If Jo came in with a St Moritz or Fake Bake tan she’d look like she’d been auditioning for a role as an Umpa Lumpa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

As Joanne has been telling me about Xen tan since September, I’ve been considering purchasing it.  But at the £30 price tag, I’ve been putting it off.  I got lots of St Tropez tan for Christmas which I do like, but I don’t think the colour is very dark, so had wanted to use this before spending my hard earned cash.

I happened to be going through Debenhams with Jo at lunch time last week and they had 20% off Xen tan so I decided to invest.  I bought the deep bronze luxe in Dark lotion. I used it after three strawberry beers and I turned out streak free.  The tan is vanilla scented, which I adore.  My bedding wasn’t covered in those disgusting black stripes like it is with Fake Bake, and my room didn’t stink either.

I washed it off in the morning and was left with a lovely golden brown colour, no hint of orange.  I personally could tell a difference but the tan looked so natural that a few people were surprised when I said I was wearing tan, they thought the colour was from my recent holiday.

I’d definitely recommend the Xen tan to everyone.  I’d rate it 9/10.  It would be 9/10 but I still think £30 is a lot of money.

Have any of you tried it?

    Looks like a great colour!
To get over a flu I swear by overdosing on loads of home-made vegetable soup, full of vitamins, plus it makes your skin look fab 😀

Thanks Car. Yeah I made lentil, carrot, sweet potato and tomato soup on Sunday. Put some coriander, chilli and cumin in hoping the spices would help 🙂 xx
