Skin Superfoods – Garnier Lotion with Mango Oil

Hello Ladies,

Having spent the majority of my time since Friday outdoors and enjoying the sunshine, my skin has been in need of a little extra TLC.  I always use an SPF, my favourite is Piz Buin as the smell sends me back to holiday.

After enjoying a day in the sun, I know how important it is to moisturise.  As aforementioned in my previous blogs, I am rather lazy when it comes to body moisturiser, but I will force myself to slather it on after sunning myself.  My current go to body lotion is Garnier’s 7 Days Replenishing Lotion which retails at a rather lovely £2.99, therefore relatively inexpensive for a lotion that should nourish my skin for 7 days.

I tend to use this whenever I shave my legs, however, I really enjoyed putting it on after being in the sun.  This lotion has mango oil in it and is therefore extremely nourishing and was featured in Thursday’s Stylist’s magazine in their ‘New Skin Superfoods’ feature.  They state that, “mango oil is rich in fatty acids which provide the skin with rich hydration”.

This is a lotion and not a cream, therefore absorbs pretty quickly into your skin.  It is light with a fresh fragrance and I actually enjoy using it.  My skin stays moisturised for days and I don’t have the dreaded flaky skin look going on with my legs, something they seem rather partial to.  This moisturiser is non-greasy and leaves my skin feeling smooth, supple and quenched.  I’d definitely recommend this to everyone, and for the £2.99 price tag, you really can’t complain.

Do any of you use this?

I religiously use the Shea Butter version of this for very dry skin – best low price lotion around!
