Nutriganics Drops of Youth Review

As I mentioned in my last post, I visited The Body Shop having seen many of their products recommended by Caroline Hirons, which you can read about here.  I have been looking for a new serum for a little while, something that actually delivers what it states on the box.  I had wanted to try the Smoothing Serum, but unfortunately they didn’t have in stock, so was recommended to try the Drops of Youth.  My immediate response was, “Am I not too young?” to which the sales consultant told me no, and that she uses it and absolutely loves it.
The product states that is is a “Youth-enhancing concentrate for smoother-looking skin.  Enriched with criste-marine plant stem cells, known to help enhance surface skin renewal”.  I’ve been using this every night since I bought it, and I have to say that I am very impressed.  I noticed that my skin looked a lot plumper the next morning, even after the first use.  My skin looked brighter and the redness in my skin had definitely reduced.  The product feels lovely on the skin and is very refreshing.  It has a lovely fresh scent and is really nice to use.

I have been using this after cleansing with Eve Lom (review here), using a spritz of The Body Shop Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz and finishing off with The Body Shop Vitamin E moisturiser.  My skin is really happy with my new routine, and I haven’t had a single break out, which I am very impressed with as I have completely overhauled my evening skincare routine.
I have since recommended this to my mum and to my mother-in-law, both of whom are very keen to try it after my excellent results.

In terms of price, the 30ml bottle is £24 and the 50ml is £30, I chose to buy the 50ml as I thought it was better value.  For application, you use 3 to 4 drops from a pipette, as I said I have been using it every night and it barely looks as though I’ve used any, which means it is obviously going to last me a while.  The only negative I have is that you cannot get 3-4 drops out of the pipette at once, you can get 1-2 drops.  This is hardly a complaint but its the only negative I have.
Have any of you tried this serum?
