My Body Update – Week 15

Current Weight: 8 Stone 9

Weight Loss: +1lb
Number of Gym Sessions: 0
Cheat Meals: Three – McDonalds on Monday, Curry on Friday & 3 Course Italian on Saturday!

Have you found anything difficult this week?

I’ve been hormonal this week and felt washed out, I tend to crave carbs when I’m hormonal and this week I’ve had 3 cheat meals.  I’ve had pretty bad cramp too, so every night this week I’ve been in bed straight after work!

Workouts

I haven’t made it to the gym this week with having cramp, I really didn’t feel in the mood for a workout.  I did manage to get back to the gym last week with two sessions, but it definitely took me longer to recover with the good few weeks off I had!  From the pictures above, my legs are definitely slimmer, they have really been my area of concern, other than my hips, over the last couple of years.  My jeans are a lot looser and people have commented on how baggy my jeans are getting.  The shorts I’m wearing were a lot more comfortable than the last time I wore them.

Food

I’ve been really naughty this week!  I’ve had three cheat meals and a few naughty snacks.  My saving grace has been Juice Plus with one shake in the morning, another for lunch, and healthy snacks during the day.  Evenings and weekends are my downfall and I really need to make an effort with this!  I over-indulged on Saturday night with three courses and a good helping of wine.  I need to cut out the wine and see how this impacts my weight.

Weigh In

I weighed myself this morning and thought that eating out two nights in a row would have had more of an impact than it did, I’ve gained a pound since my last My Body Post, but I’m the same weight as I was last week.  This makes me think if I hadn’t been naughty I’d have seen a real difference in my weight.

The Next Week

I need to up the training for Pretty Muddy which is only 6 weeks away.  I’m going to cut out alcohol and make a conscious effort not to give in to convenience takeaways after work.  I’m also going to make an effort to eat in for the next week so that I know it’s healthy ingredients in my home cooked food!

P.S.  Cassie wanted to say ‘Hi’ to you all!
