Street Swagger Nails

Hello Ladies,

Last night I had my nails done for going away. I usually have naturally long nails but unfortunately they had all snapped. I was going to go with a French polish as it goes with everything and always leaves you looking groomed. I spoke to my manicurist and we both said due to a couple of nails being very short, French wouldn’t look good.

When it comes to nail colour I usually opt for a bright colour, something usually coral as I adore the colour. However, the beauticians had just gotten a new colour in called ‘Street Swagger’. It is a very deep red, not quite burgundy, but it definitely has some deep brown in it. I decided to go for this as the colour was fabulous.

I absolutely love them and I’m so glad I decided to break with my habit of bright nails. This deep, dark, rich colour will go with everything and it looks very classy.

I have attached a couple of pictures, one with and one without flash. They almost look black in the picture.

This polish is Jessica GELeration and cost me £21.50. The gel lasts around two weeks so is perfect for my holiday. I’ve had this on a few times and I really like it as it doesn’t damage my nails. I really don’t like the look of big false plastic nails anymore and think I could get used to this short style with a dark colour.

This looks very elegant! I know what you mean when you say the French manicure makes you look instantly polished, but the right darker shade can do the same thing AND give you that bit of an edge. This one is the perfect example! 😉 xx
