I’m sure many of you will be attending weddings this summer and deciding what to wear is half the fun. There are so many possibilities as a wedding guest, but please, do not wear white (this irritates me as a guest, never mind how the bride must feel). In my opinion your outfit should be classy; not too short or revealing, you’re going to a wedding not a nightclub!
If you’re looking for some ideas, I’ve picked out a prom style dress from M&Co* which is covered in bright flowers. By incorporating so many different colours within the pattern, I wasn’t limited in my choice of accessories and shoes. I paired with some Carvela orange and rose gold slingbacks, a rose gold watch and my favourite Louis Vuitton clutch. In terms of makeup, I opted for simple feline flicks and a bright lipstick to compliment the bright flowers and shoes.
The dress has its own belt which I tied at the side in a bow, but you could easily change up this belt if you wanted a less formal look. The dress is priced at £49 which I think is a bargain for such a well-finished dress, even better still, it is currently on sale for £35! I picked a size 8 and it fits like a glove. The material is cotton, but not too heavy and the dress is also fully lined.
