I have another super quick and tasty breakfast recipe for you today for the Arla Seven Great Days campaign, aiming to get us Brits eating a healthy breakfast everyday. If you’ve not already come across the Smoothie Bowl trend, it’s basically switching up a smoothie so you can eat it with a spoon; very instagram-worthy too.
Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 200ml Lactofree Natural Yogurt
- 2 Handfuls of Frozen Berries
- 1 Handful of Blueberries
- 1 Banana
- 2 tbsp Linseeds
Method
Put your yogurt and frozen berries in a blender, as you would if you were making a traditional smoothie. I’ve only used yogurt and no milk in order to make it thicker. Whizz it all up until smooth and pour into a bowl. Chop up your banana and layer it on top of the smoothie, then add your blueberries, and finally your linseeds. You can add whatever you like to your smoothie bowl and make it original. I’m on my Low FODMAP diet at the moment so it’s got to be Lactofree and I added the linseeds for extra fibre.
